It is very important to us that all guests at Cape Pointe Cottages & RV Park enjoy their stay. To ensure that each and every guest has a pleasant experience we ask that you respect the Park Rules listed below.

Park Hours

Pets

  • Pets are welcome, but they must be on a leash at ALL times. Do not leave your pets unattended. NO PITBULLS ALLOWED.
  • Please help us keep our grounds clean by scooping up your pets' waste and disposing of properly.
  • Liability forms must be signed when checking in.

Park Rules

Anyone violating these rules and regulations or conducting themselves in a manner that disrupts the peace and pleasure of other residents will be subject to fines, expulsion or eviction.

  • Noise: From 11 PM until 8 AM there shall be no loud or disruptive noise of any kind, including loud music.
  • Children: Parents or guardians are responsible for the actions and safety of their children. No minors are allowed to stay at the RV Park unattended. All minors under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult.
  • Automobiles: No more than one RV and one automobile per lot. No washing of vehicles or boats in the RV Park.
  • Alcohol: No disruptive or drunken behavior is allowed. Please enjoy yourselves in a responsible manner and always be courteous and considerate of others.
  • Visitors: All visitors must register at the office. Visitors are subject to all rules and regulations of the park.
  • Vehicles: The maximum speed limit within the RV Park is 5 MPH. No ATVs, go-carts, skateboards or mini-bikes are allowed. Golf carts are allowed.
  • Golf Carts: You are responsible for your golf cart regardless of who operates it. Golf carts must be in good working order. All golf carts must be registered with the office each year and must have liability insurance.
  • Lighting: Any exterior lighting that is not provided by the manufacturer of your RV or Park Home requires approval by management.
  • Rugs: No large outdoor rugs are allowed. Only 2' x 3' doormats are allowed. No clotheslines.
  • Construction: All construction within the RV Park must be approved in advance by management. This includes all decks, storage buildings and other structures. No clotheslines are allowed and there is to be no hanging of clothes or towels on fences, walls, trees or bushes.
  • Swimming: You may play and swim at your own risk on the sandy beach and in the water. No lifeguards are provided. The water may contain shells and other sharp objects so it is recommended that you wear water shoes or other protective gear.
  • Garbage: Please keep your site and the park clean and free of debris, cans, bottles, cigarette butts, pet waste and garbage. Anyone found leaving trash on the property or beach is subject to a $75 fine. A dumpster is provided for the use of Cape Pointe Cottages & RV Park residents and garbage must be taken to the dumpster. Bags of trash are not to be left outside of your RV.
  • Environment: At Cape Pointe Cottages & RV Park, we strive to be great stewards of the environment in which we live, work and play. Accordingly, please be conscious of your impact on the environment when it comes to energy consumption, water usage, litter, animal and plant life, and our beautiful water. Please turn off water and lights when not in use.
  • Courtesy: Please respect the privacy of other residents. Do not walk through occupied lots to get to and from the beach, water or any other areas. Use the designated roads and walks.
  • Loss or Damage: Cape Pointe Cottages & RV Park shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury occurring at the park.
  • Music: We want everyone to enjoy the park, but not to the detriment of other residents. Please be courteous of the volume of any music played. Repeat violators will be fined.
  • Fires: Fires are permitted only in well-protected fire grills and must be raised off the ground. No fire rings allowed.
  • Grills: Grilling is allowed but please dispose of cold/extinguished ashes in the trash. Do not place hot coals or ash in the dumpster and do not dump ash on the grounds.
  • Fireworks and firearms: Both fireworks and firearms are prohibited.
  • Storage: Boat, trailer and vehicle storage are not allowed at Cape Pointe Cottages & RV Park. Cape Pointe Marina can provide you fenced storage for your boats, trailers and extra vehicles.
  • Underpinning: All recreational vehicles located on lots that are under an annual lease must have underpinning that is approved by the management and the Owners Association.
  • Covenants: All residents, visitors and persons on the premises must abide by the Covenants recorded in the Carteret County Register of Deeds.
  • RVs: RVs must be "Park Model" design, not travel style. All Park Models must be approved by management and HOA.
